When an Edmonton firefighter, dressed in a yellow jacket with helmet tightly placed on his head and a look of purpose and concern on his face, enters the front door of your home carrying the biggest axe you’ve ever seen, things are not good.

A sense of helplessness washes over you. It’s trumped, though, with the fear of the unknown for your home’s future.
