WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED 18 YEARS LATER: shawna randolph

HE SILENCE DOWN THE MANHATTAN STREET WAS EERIE. FIVE YEARS AFTER THAT TERRIBLE TUESDAY ON THIS DATE OUR WORLD, CHANGED, FOREVER.

MY WIFE AND I VISITED THE MEMORIAL WHERE THE TWIN TOWERS ONCE MIGHTILY STOOD, AND WHERE THEY WERE DESTROYED BY TWO JETLINERS.

IMAGINING THAT MANHATTAN MORNING WHEN CARNAGE WAS WITNESSED LIKE NEVER BEFORE.  IT WAS OVERWHELMING…AND TOOK BOTH OUR BREATHS AWAY.
