LET’S CREATE, TOGETHER, AN IMAGE OF HOPE

Marjorie Bencz, Executive Director of the Edmonton Food Bank, sits in an empty warehouse at the Edmonton Food Bank on Thursday August 1, 2019. Each month, between 20,000 and 22,000 people receive food hampers from the Food Bank. In addition, Edmonton’s Food Bank provides food to over 250 agencies, churches, schools, and food depots. Bencz is hoping that the Edmonton Heritage Festival food drive will help fill the need. (PHOTO BY LARRY WONG/POSTMEDIA)
