May 27, 2019 in 100 words with Louie DeBrusk

It was 1992: Louie Debrusk sat at the back of the Camrose Golf Club dining room.  At the time, Louie was an Edmonton Oilers. He just played a round of golf supporting Ronald McDonald House. I had a brand new Ping putter and auctioned it off. I’m the worst auctioneer in history. So I picked on Louie. and he was the only bidder. Louie bought in for $350.  Louie is in Boston watching his son Jake play for the Stanley Cup  as a Bruin. He might play golf with Jake Tuesday. I hope that putter still has a magic touch.

A great split screen when Jake scored his first NHL goal Oct. 5, 2018
