A dew days Taiter from the Edmonton Sun

Sometimes, all we have to do is ask. And then watch, with gratitude and appreciation, kindness in action.

But it’s funny, isn’t it? Some of us have a whisper running in the back of of our minds, which increases its volume with every ticking second. It convinces us by asking for something more that may create a hardship. A burden, perhaps.

So we tend not to ask for that little bit of extra help. We’ll be fine, we tell ourselves — even when we are a little unsure in our own minds and know there is a certain amount of an unsafe situations.

I found myself in such a predicament late last week.
